Come to picturesque Cape Porpoise, Maine, to learn the wonders of wood-fired cooking. This small coastal Maine village is part of the town of Kennebunkport — a town famous for its quiet beauty and its retired presidents. Cape Porpoise is 90 minutes north of Boston, close to a train station in Wells and an airport in Portland. Jillyanna’s facility includes three ovens: a Mugnaini woodfired oven, a Wolf electric oven and a Viking gas oven. Classes take place inside the teaching kitchen and outside of the kitchen on a bluestone patio. There are several spacious marble, granite and cherry wood work stations as well as plenty of stools and chairs. Classes take place rain or shine.
